Needles in the Candy

LYRICS REVIEWS
Needles in the candy

     Light the candle
     Heat the pin
     Red hot glowing
     Push it in

Needles in the candy

     Wrap it up
     Re-seal the glue
     Twist the ends tight
     Just like new

     Knock knock who's there?
     Well, come on in
     Have a piece of
     My mortal sin

Needles in the candy

STORY BEHIND THE SONG:

This song was made for Halloween. I think
people are relieved to find that out. It was
written for the Halloween of 2002 - 4 months
before Matt and I (Tina) started playing with Eric.
We were playing with this guy who calles himself
Zed Salt as Thrumble, but still doing our own stuff
on the side as plankton. This was a plankton song
but Zed liked it and wanted to throw in, so he's
on here playing a banjo and singing background
vocals. We split with him one week before we started
playing with Eric. Eric re-recorded the drums for
the release of 2003. People seem to like it. It was
especially thrilling to get to play it at Pat's
crazy Halloween party! The fog machine really
put it over the top.
